Your Perfect Manicure

  • Step 1: Clean Nails

    Hands, nails and cuticles that have been effectively cleaned and freed from dirt and sebum are the perfect basis for a manicure.

  • Step 2: Apply color

    Apply your color as thinly as possible. If you want the color to be more thick, apply a second thin layer. Allow the layer of paint to dry well.

  • Optional: Top coat

    With the water-based top coat, your nail color will last up to 5 days.

How is your nail polish Halal?

Modesty Vienna nail polishes feature a breathable, 20-free, and vegan formula that allows water and oxygen to permeate through.

Modesty Vienna has collaborated with Islamic scholars to meet halal nail polish requirements.

- Our products are free from animal ingredients, byproducts, and prohibited alcohol.
-The water-permeable formula allows them to be worn during wudu, as water passes through when rubbed.

How does water go through during Wudu?

Our nail polish features a unique breathable formula that forms a water- and oxygen-permeable layer upon application. This allows water to reach your nails, making it suitable for Ablution practices.

Once the nail polish has been applied, simply leave to dry normally. Optionally, apply a top coat.

We recommend washing (rubbing) the nails individually for a further 10 seconds when wuduing.

Appliance?

For optimal water permeability, we recommend applying no more than three thin coats of nail polish, such as two coats of color and one top coat, or three coats of color. Our halal nail polishes are highly pigmented, so one coat is typically sufficient for most shades.

Where are MV nail polish made?

It was important for us to find a manufacturer that is in an islamic country. Our nail polish is produced in Pakistan - The concept, laboratory testing and formulation in Europe, Germany.
